Two Authors, One Voice
"Cary Morgan and Deborah O'Neill Cordes invite you on a journey to worlds of ancient splendor and unbridled adventure..."
A chance meeting at a writers' conference brought Cary Morgan and Deborah O'Neill Cordes together. Connected by a mutual love of timeswept fiction, they embarked on a collaboration that birthed "Morgan O'Neill."
History & Language
Cary and Deborah have produced eight time travel novels. Their unique backgrounds fuel their stories: Deborah holds a master’s degree in history, while Cary is a linguist fluent in French and studying Latin. Their travels across Europe’s ancient sites breathe authentic life into their settings.
Research is their cornerstone. Deborah's genealogy work inspired key plots—discovering descent from Queen Adelaide led to The Other Side of Heaven, and a lineage tracing back to King Alaric I sparked the Roman series. Cary’s passion for Tudor England laid the foundation for their Elizabethan novels.
A Royal Connection?
Amazingly, Deborah discovered she is related to three of Henry VIII's wives, making her a cousin to Queen Elizabeth I—a central figure in their Elizabethan series. Recent research even suggests Cary and Deb may be distant cousins, sharing royal medieval ancestry!
